POLITICAL / LIST CONTEXT

Why coalition labels matter

Serbia polls do not always test identical ballot configurations. Votendi therefore compares the political poles for readability while preserving each pollster's original list name in the source record.

SNS / Vučić-led configurations

Polls variously use labels such as SNS / Aleksandar Vučić, Aleksandar Vučić – Ujedinjena Srbija and broader coalition variants. They are grouped only in the overview and are not assumed to be an identical ballot list.

Student-list configurations

Labels include Studentska lista, Student List and Vladan Đokić – Studenti pobeđuju. The overview grouping is a display aid, not a claim that every poll tested the same formal list.

Other parties and coalitions

Smaller parties and opposition or coalition groupings also vary between surveys. Votendi does not add them into bloc totals unless a poll or source explicitly reports that configuration.

No bloc arithmetic. Unlike the Israel hub, Serbia does not show a coalition-seat or bloc total because the stored surveys use materially different list configurations.

TRANSPARENCY

What is being compared?

The publication-window filter applies to publication dates, not fieldwork. For the two-pole overview only, Votendi uses a transparent display grouping: Studentska lista / Student List / Studentska lista – Vladan Đokić / Vladan Đokić – Studenti pobeđuju form one student-list family; SNS / Aleksandar Vučić and Ujedinjena Srbija variants form one government/SNS family. This grouping does not alter stored poll data and is not used as a polling average.

The range and comparison use one latest eligible poll per polling organisation in the selected window so repeated waves from a single pollster do not receive extra visual weight. Threshold watch always uses one source poll at a time. Unknown metadata is displayed as not disclosed, and missing results are never treated as zero or borrowed from another survey.
