ELECTIONS, TRACKED.
About Votendi
Votendi tracks elections, polls and political change around the world.
Our goal is to make election data easier to understand without reducing politics to headlines, partisan narratives or isolated poll numbers.
Votendi combines polling data, election results, political context and explanatory journalism. Where polling averages or other calculated indicators are published, we aim to explain the underlying data and methodology so readers can understand how the numbers were produced.
Votendi is editorially independent and is not owned, controlled or operated by a political party, candidate, campaign or political organization.

Editorial Independence
Votendi does not endorse political parties or candidates.
Our election coverage distinguishes clearly between data, such as published polls and official election results; calculated indicators, such as polling averages or changes over time; reporting, based on identifiable sources and documented events; and analysis, which provides political context without presenting interpretation as established fact.
Political actors are not given favorable or unfavorable treatment because of the personal political history, views or affiliations of individual contributors. Editorial decisions are made according to relevance, available evidence and the informational value of the material to readers.
Political and Professional Disclosures
Political journalism benefits from transparency about circumstances that could reasonably be perceived as conflicts of interest.
Members of the Votendi team who hold or have held elected political positions or other relevant political roles disclose those relationships publicly.
Previous political activity does not automatically prevent someone from contributing to Votendi. However, relevant affiliations should be disclosed and contributors should not use Votendi coverage to advocate for political parties, candidates or campaigns.
Where a contributor has a direct current relationship that could materially affect the perception of a particular article, election or political actor, an additional disclosure should be included with that content.
Polling and Data Standards
Votendi aims to identify the original source of every poll whenever reliable source information is available.
Poll entries should, where available, include the pollster, fieldwork dates, sample size, population surveyed, sponsor or commissioning organization, publication date, polling method and original source.
Individual polls should not be presented as predictions of election outcomes. Polling averages, trend indicators and other calculated values should be distinguishable from individual polls and official election results.
Methodological decisions that materially affect a published average should be documented on Votendi’s methodology pages.
Authorship and Review
Articles containing original reporting, substantial analysis or specialist contributions should identify the people responsible for the work.
Written by — principal author.
Analysis by — specialist responsible for political or quantitative analysis.
Reviewed by — contributor responsible for specialist, factual or methodological review.
Votendi Research Team — collaborative data-driven material where no single contributor is the principal author.
These labels must reflect actual contributions. Generic labels such as Admin should not be used as the public author identity for substantive editorial content.
Corrections
Accuracy is more important than preserving the original version of an article. Material factual or data errors should be corrected as soon as reasonably possible.
Significant corrections should include a visible note explaining what changed. Updates resulting from newly published polling or election results may be identified as updates rather than corrections.
Historical polling data should not be silently altered where doing so would change the historical record.
Send editorial questions or correction requests to info@votendi.com, including the relevant URL and source.
Use of Technology and AI
Votendi may use software, automated data-processing systems and AI-assisted tools for data organization, translation, transcription, research assistance, drafting support and quality control.
Technology does not replace editorial responsibility. Published factual claims, editorial judgments, poll selection, methodology decisions and corrections remain subject to human editorial oversight.
AI-generated information is not a primary factual source. Political, polling and election claims should be checked against identifiable sources before publication.
Our Standard
Votendi’s objective is not to tell readers who should win an election.
Our objective is to help readers understand what the polls show, how the numbers are changing, what the electoral system means, and what political developments may explain those changes.
The distinction between measurement, reporting and interpretation is central to Votendi’s editorial approach.
